Learning About Your Own Account with Whoami in Windows 7
Windows 7 includes a command-line utility called Whoami. You can use Whoami to find out the name of the account that’s currently logged on, its SID, the names of the security groups of which it’s a member, and its privileges.
Follow following instructions to use whoami command and it's switches
Step I - Go to start > Run > cmd.

Step II - To know the name of the logged-on user, type whoami in command prompt and hit enter

Step III - To know your SID type whoami/user and hit enter.

Step III - To see a list of your account’s group memberships, type whoami /groups /fo list
Step IV - To learn which privileges are enabled for the logged-on account, type whoami /priv /fo list
Step V - For a complete list of Whoami parameters, type whoami /?
