Save Hard disk Space by disabling memory dump files in Windows 7
Dump file is a file that is recorded when the program has terminated abnormally,(i.e,crashed). This file is used to diagnose the source of crash. And certainly this file chew up your hard disk space,this file is no certain use for normal user.you can disable memory dump file to get back some hard disk space and you can also enable it when you want it back. Follow following procedure to disable memory dump files in Windows 7
Step I - Go to your control panel.
Step II - Type Advaced in the search box and click on view advanced system settings
as shown below.

Step III - Under startup and recovery, click settings.

Step IV - Under write debugging information drop down, click on none and than ok as
shown below
